I'm Really Annoyed...
It's insulting to choose one month to sum up a race's entire history.
Why isn't there a White History Month?
Why isn't there an African-American History Month?
Hell, why not have a Heterosexuality History Month whilst you're at it!?
I'm with Morgan Freeman on this one!

There's not a white/straight history month because whites and straights make up the rest of history. I'm pretty certain the point isn't "Black people are only important enough for one month" but more "Black people have been systematically oppressed for hundreds of years. Teaching everyone about their history might actually be useful in showing that history isn't all about white people."
